Cut EPS and Neopor blocks with up to 60 cutting wires.
Anyone who regularly cuts panels, strips or blocks from EPS or Neopor blocks needs the CT5000S.
Place the material, run it through the machine and take the finished cuts off on the outfeed side. Whether large or smaller quantities: the CT5000S enables fast and continuous production without a computer or programming.
The machine works semi-automatically. Set the cutting wires to the desired dimensions, start the machine and produce.
The CT5000S works with a cutting gang of two cutting units. The first unit has horizontally arranged cutting wires, the second directly behind it has vertically arranged cutting wires.
This cuts the material horizontally and vertically to the desired dimensions in one pass. Up to 60 cutting wires can be used in total. The split between the horizontal and vertical cutting unit can be chosen freely.
The process is simple: the material is transported through the cutting gang on two conveyor belts – one in front of and one behind the cutting unit – cut there horizontally and vertically, and discharged finished on the outfeed side.
Conveyor speed and wire temperature can be adjusted at any time to the material and cutting task.
Hot-wire cutting of EPS and Neopor produces smoke and odours. On the CT5000S, up to 60 cutting wires work at the same time. Without extraction, smoke and odours would spread throughout the entire working area within a short time. Working without extraction is therefore hardly possible.
The cutting area of the CT5000S is therefore enclosed and fitted with an extraction hood at the top. This extracts the smoke right where it is produced, before it spreads into the working area.
The connection is made via an extraction hose with a diameter of 500 mm. The machine can be connected to an existing company extraction system or to a separate air filter unit.
On the CT5000S the cutting wires are set and hung manually. For each job the wires are set to the required dimensions.
If, for example, panels, strips or blocks are to be produced in certain sizes, the horizontal and vertical wires are rehung and reset accordingly.
The number and distribution of the cutting wires between the horizontal and vertical cutting unit can be freely adapted to the respective job.
The CT5000S is therefore mainly intended for larger quantities with the same dimensions. Setting up and rehanging the cutting wires takes time. Once the machine is set up, large quantities of identical cuts can then be produced continuously.
The CT5000S works with cutting wires with a diameter of 0.4 mm.
The wires are hung manually and tensioned by springs. These compensate for the change in wire length as it heats up and keep it under tension during cutting.
Cutting wire and tension springs are wear parts and can be obtained directly from cnc-multitool when needed.

Additional infeed and outfeed roller conveyors are available for the CT5000S. Especially on the outfeed side, this creates a practical buffer zone for the finished cut parts.
The machine can keep producing while the already cut parts are collected on the roller conveyor and then removed. This means the material flow does not have to be interrupted after every cut.
Mobile roller conveyor tables are also possible as an option. The finished parts run directly onto the mobile roller conveyor table. This can then be pushed away from the machine and replaced by a second roller conveyor table.
Finished cuts can thus be moved out of the production area while the machine keeps working.
The CT5000S can optionally be equipped with side walls. They guide standing panels through the machine during transport and prevent them from tipping over.
At the same time, with very small cuts the side walls prevent small blocks from falling off the side of the table.
The CT5000S is assembled, adjusted and function-tested at the factory before delivery. On site, the machine is set up, connected electrically and set up.
When using the extraction, the existing company extraction system is connected to the machine's extraction hood via a 500 mm extraction hose.
The cutting wires are then positioned according to the desired dimensions and conveyor speed and wire temperature are set.
Questions about operation, adjustment or troubleshooting can be clarified directly with our technical support.
Spare and wear parts such as cutting wire and springs can be obtained directly from cnc-multitool. Many components are easily accessible and can be replaced by the customer.
The EPS or Neopor block is transported through the cutting gang on two conveyor belts – one in front of and one behind the cutting unit – and cut horizontally and vertically one after the other. This cuts the block in two directions in one continuous pass.
The CT5000S can be equipped with up to 60 cutting wires in total. The split between the horizontal and vertical cutting unit can be chosen freely according to the respective application.
The CT5000S is designed for processing EPS and Neopor blocks.
