ACOUSTIC MATERIALS

Processing acoustic materials cleanly

Acoustic elements are made from soft, fibrous and open-pored materials: mineral wool, PET/polyester boards (acoustic fleece), felt, melamine and acoustic foam, and wood wool and composite boards.

These materials are not cut with wire. Soft, fibrous materials such as felt and PET are separated cleanly by an oscillating knife – without fraying or dust; rigid boards are milled. This also produces chamfers, contours and 3D shapes.

ACOUSTIC ELEMENTS

Which acoustic elements do you want to produce?

Wall absorbers, ceiling rafts and acoustic baffles, acoustic art panels, room dividers and desk absorbers, through to freely shaped elements, logos and lettering – from a single piece to series.

All of these are produced on one machine: the W2 Series with CNC mill and oscillating knife.

Frequently asked questions

Which materials can you process?

Mineral wool, PET/polyester boards (acoustic fleece), felt, melamine and acoustic foam, and wood wool and composite boards.

Milling or knife – what is used?

Soft, fibrous materials such as felt and PET are cut with the oscillating knife; rigid boards are milled. The W2 Series combines both.

Which acoustic elements are possible?

Wall absorbers, ceiling rafts, acoustic baffles, acoustic art panels, room dividers, desk absorbers and freely shaped elements – including logos and lettering.

Show more questions

Why an oscillating knife?

It separates soft and fibrous materials cleanly, without fraying or dust – and also cuts contours and chamfers.

Single piece or series?

Both. From a single custom shape to series production – reproducible via CNC.
