FW1000H Series
CNC Fastwire cutting machine for board cut-to-size, 2D contours, profiles, and technical molded parts from foam and insulation boards. Models FW1112H, FW1120H, and FW1130H.
Here you will find an overview of our CNC Fastwire cutting machines and a simple selection guide for your application.
Fastwire cutting is the opposite of hot-wire cutting. While in hot-wire cutting a thin hot wire melts its way through the material, in Fastwire cutting a fast-rotating cutting wire saws its way mechanically through the material.
It is therefore not a thermal cutting process, but a sawing process.
While hot-wire cutting is typically used for processing thermally cuttable foams such as EPS, XPS, EPP, or Neopor, Fastwire cutting is used above all for materials that a hot wire cannot process, or can process only poorly.
These include, for example, PU, PUR, PIR, PE, EPE, PP, as well as stone and glass wool.
In addition, with the right cutting wire, many materials can be processed that can also be cut with a hot wire.
For different materials, the right cutting wire is selected.
Four machine series are available for Fastwire cutting.
Choose the FW1000H if you process single boards, the FW4000H for blocks and boards in low-ceiling workshops, the FW5000H for high volumes and whole pallets, and the FW5000HR for producing tapered insulation and roof insulation components.
CNC Fastwire cutting machine for board cut-to-size, 2D contours, profiles, and technical molded parts from foam and insulation boards. Models FW1112H, FW1120H, and FW1130H.
CNC Fastwire cutting machine for blocks and boards made of PU, PUR, PIR as well as stone wool and glass wool – the block machine for low-ceiling workshops with only 2.2 m operating height. Models FW4120H, FW4125H, and FW4130H.
Industrial CNC Fastwire cutting machine for the series production of cut parts made of PU, PUR, PIR, stone wool, and glass wool. Pipe sections, insulation elements, profiles, and custom contours. Models FW5120H, FW5125H, and FW5130H.
CNC Fastwire roof cutting machine for tapered insulation and roof insulation components made of stone wool, PIR, PU, and PUR. Tapered boards, valley and hip boards, roof crickets, and custom contours with an integrated conveyor belt. Models FW5030HR and FW5130HR.
The right machine does not depend on its size, but on your production: what you manufacture, how your material is supplied, and how much space you have in your workshop.
For stone wool, PIR, PU, or PUR, we recommend the FW5000HR Series – specifically for tapered boards, valley and hip boards, and roof crickets – valley and hip boards even in one piece.
For EPS, XPS, EPP, or Neopor, the RoofCut Series (hot wire) is the right machine.
Then the FW1000H Series is your machine – for profiles, packaging parts, insulation parts, and fine 2D contours from single boards, lying flat or standing upright.
Typical materials: stone wool, glass wool, PU, PUR, PIR, PE, EPP, and XPS.
Then we recommend the FW4000H Series, the flexible block and board machine with an operating height of only 2.2 m.
It cuts PU, PUR, and PIR blocks as well as boards – lying flat or standing upright; with vertical board stabilization, several boards can be cut in a single operation.
Then the FW5000H Series is the right choice – designed for industrial throughput.
A complete pallet of boards lying flat is loaded by forklift and cut in a single pass without reloading – for high volumes in continuous operation.
Wire length, cutting speed, material density, and component geometry influence machine selection, cut quality, and production speed.
