The FW5000H series is a CNC Fastwire machine for industrial production operation. It is designed for recurring cutting tasks, high volumes and continuous use in ongoing production.
With the fast-running cutting wire, you can produce pipe sections, insulation profiles, insulation components, transport protection, technical cut parts and custom 2D contours from various foam and insulation materials as well as stone wool.
The machine works with a fast-running cutting wire that separates the material mechanically and without heat input. The continuous wire reaches speeds of nearly 300 km/h.

Depending on how your material is supplied, it is processed on the FW5000H – as a block, as a board or directly as a complete pallet.
For EPS and Styrofoam, we recommend our hot wire cutting machines.
Material blocks made of PU, PUR and PIR are picked up next to the machine and pushed onto the open table – directly from the forklift or via a roller conveyor. They are then aligned and cut under CNC control.
This produces pipe sections, insulation profiles, insulation components, technical cut parts and free 2D contours.
Heavy blocks usually stay safely in place through their own weight.
Raw material can be cut to length and trimmed to defined dimensions beforehand.
Stone wool and foam as well as other board materials are processed exclusively lying flat on the machine table.
This allows insulation components, technical cut parts and custom contours to be produced from boards.
If you want to cut boards standing upright – for example several identical contours in a single operation – the FW4000H series with vertical board stabilization is the right machine.
Boards are often delivered as a complete pallet. It is placed directly onto the open machine table with the forklift.
A complete pallet of boards lying flat is cut in a single pass – without reloading. This produces high volumes without additional handling.
The four models differ only in the length of the working area. Width, working height, axes, cutting wire and connection ratings are the same on all models. What matters for the choice is therefore solely how long your material is.
The FW5120H and the FW5125H are designed for the common standard blocks of 2,000 and 2,500 mm, the FW5130H for 3,000 mm and the FW5140S for material up to 4,000 mm. Larger dimensions are available on request.

How fast you can cut depends on material, density, contour and cutting wire and cannot be stated in general terms.
For reliable figures, we are happy to carry out test cuts with your material in our sample production.
The FW5000H works with a fast-running cutting wire that cuts the material mechanically and without heat input.
The cutting wire consists of several wire cores around which another wire is wound. Depending on the material, different windings are used to achieve the best possible cut quality and cutting speed.
The cutting wire used has a diameter of 1.2 to 1.6 mm.
A CNC machine is only as good as its software – it determines how quickly and easily jobs can be prepared. Good software saves time and money in everyday production.
A CAM software translates a CAD drawing (DXF or DWG) into a machine program. With us, CAD, CAM and machine software are separate – you can use any suitable CAM software. Our own styroCAM Fastwire is included for the first year.
For simple cuts – rectangular contours, cutouts, miters – a plugin is available directly at the machine, entirely without CAD or CAM. Since we develop the software in-house, customer-specific functions are possible.
If service is needed, you receive support directly from cnc-multitool – by phone, email or remote maintenance, so many questions can be resolved immediately.
Important components are easily accessible and quick to replace; if required, a service technician comes on site. The goal is always to keep downtime as short as possible.
The FW5000H series is designed for reliable operation in daily production: a sturdy steel construction, a powerful wire drive and practical operating and safety systems.
The machine frame and work table are made of welded and painted steel profiles. The solid construction ensures smooth running and reproducible cutting results.
The open machine table is easily accessible: blocks and boards can be easily placed, aligned and removed – a complete pallet is placed with the forklift directly onto the table.
The circulating cutting wire is driven by a strong 4-kW three-phase motor. This makes it possible to cut even high-density materials without the wire losing speed under load.
The wire speed is controlled directly via the machine software and adapted to the respective material.
The cutting wire is tensioned pneumatically during operation. The constant tension prevents sagging and vibration – a prerequisite for clean, smooth cut surfaces without grooves.
If the wire is damaged or an unforeseen event occurs at the wire path, the machine stops automatically. After a check or wire change, the program is resumed at the stop point.
Abrasive cutting generates dust that has to be extracted. For this, the cutting arms are enclosed and prepared with two 100 mm extraction connections.
Either an extraction system offered by us or a suitable external extraction system can be used.
Together with the machine software and control, the computer system forms the operating environment of the FW5000H. It is delivered ready for use with a current Windows Pro license – computer, interfaces and software are matched to one another.
All computer systems from cnc-multitool have a second SSD as a backup drive.
The control desk sits directly at the FW5000H and is designed dust-protected for the production environment. Computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse and the operating controls are arranged at a fixed workstation.
This gives the operator machine, software and production documents right where they are needed – controlling the cutting process from the workstation at the machine.

The FW5000H series is delivered as a CNC Fastwire machine prepared ready for operation. Machine, control and basic software are already included.
Fastwire cutting generates sawdust depending on the material and cutting wire. A suitable extraction system is therefore required for production operation.
The extraction system can be sourced from us to match the machine or provided by the customer.
An appropriately integrated extraction system can be switched on and off via the machine software.
A suitable protective device is required for machine operation.
Depending on the setup and production environment, this can consist of a safety fence and safety light barriers.
The protective device can be ordered together with the machine from us or implemented by the customer in accordance with the applicable safety regulations.
You usually commission the FW5000H yourself – for this we provide you with documentation and videos and support you via remote service if required.
On request, our technicians handle installation and commissioning directly at your site – set up, connected, tested and handed over ready for operation.
Software and application training is available at cnc-multitool, at your site or online via TeamViewer.
