Our hot wire cutting machines are designed for different production tasks. The key question is what you want to produce from your material.
The GT1300S Series cuts blocks and boards to length. The CT2000S Series slices EPS and Neopor blocks into sheets and tapered boards using multiple hot wires. The CT5000S cuts horizontally and vertically in one pass to produce sheets, strips and small blocks. The CT5000SC combines block handling, cut-to-length and multi-wire grid cutting in one semi-automatic EPS block cutting line.
EPS and Neopor are processed as blocks. XPS and EPP are supplied as boards. If these boards are fed vertically through a multi-wire machine, side guides are required. This is possible with the CT5000S and CT5000SC.

GT1300S Series – for cutting blocks or boards to length
The GT1300S Series is a dedicated hot wire cut-to-length machine for straight cross-cuts. It quickly cuts EPS and Neopor blocks as well as EPS, Neopor and XPS boards to the required length.
Ideal as a stand-alone material preparation station or upstream of a CNC cutting machine, so simple cut-to-length operations do not occupy your CNC production machine.

CT2000S Series – for cutting sheets and tapered boards
The CT2000S Series is a multi-wire EPS slab cutting machine. Multiple horizontal hot wires slice EPS and Neopor blocks into several sheets or tapered boards at the same time.
It is designed for repeat dimensions and larger production runs: set the wire positions once, then produce several sheets in each pass.

CT5000S – for sheets, strips and small blocks in one pass
The CT5000S combines horizontal and vertical cutting units. This allows the material to be cut in two directions in one continuous pass.
With up to 60 cutting wires, this multi-wire EPS block cutting machine is ideal for larger quantities of identical sheets, strips and small blocks. Optional side guides also allow upright XPS and EPP boards to be fed safely through the machine.

CT5000SC – for block handling, cut-to-length and cutting in one line
The CT5000SC is a semi-automatic EPS block cutting line for complete block processing. It combines a block turner, cut-to-length station and multi-wire grid cutting machine in one continuous production flow.
It is designed for companies processing larger quantities regularly and looking to reduce material handling and labor without investing in a complex fully automated line.

Which materials can be processed?
Block processing is designed for EPS and Neopor. The GT1300S can also cut XPS boards to length.
Can XPS and EPP boards also be cut?
Yes. XPS and EPP are supplied as boards. Side guides are required when they are fed upright through a multi-wire machine; this is possible with the CT5000S and CT5000SC.
What is the difference between CT2000S and CT5000S?
The CT2000S uses horizontal wires to cut sheets and tapered boards. The CT5000S cuts horizontally and vertically, allowing strips and small blocks to be produced in the same pass.
When does the CT5000SC make sense?
When you regularly process complete blocks and want to combine block handling, cut-to-length and grid cutting in one continuous production flow.
Do the machines require a computer?
No. The machines operate semi-automatically; wire positions, feed speed and temperature are set for each job. The GT1300S can optionally be equipped with the multiSTOP CNC positioning system.
Why are these machines especially suitable for series production?
Setting the cutting wires takes time. Once the dimensions are set, large quantities of identical parts can be produced quickly and economically.
